Location
Located on the front side of the World Trade Centre on the rear side of the WTC apartments. This is an excellent central location. The hotel is actually attached to the convention centre itself.
Rooms
Rooms are small in size, but are in very good condition. Rooms are quite basic but are nevertheless perfectly acceptable and offer extremely good value for money.
Restaurant
The 24 hour restaurant is locted to the rear of the reception and offers international cuisine.
General
Beach transfers available from the hotel upon request and subject to availability. This is a good standard 3 star hotel; possibly the best in its category in the city. (SC 07/06)

Books reported that the Ibis would be in the $80-$100 range...however, the cheapest that I was able to book at was $200/night, including breakfast. When you enter the lobby, the hotel looks ultra modern and contemporary. However, the room is quick to disappoint given its size -- the room, bathroom, closet, etc were very small by American standards (but probably right on par for Asia). No outlets near vanity or in bathroom for hair dryer so I ended up sitting by the window desk with no mirrow to work with. We requested a non-smoking room but every so often, smoke from adjacent rooms would flow into our room (through ducts?). Nice choice of food items for breakfast however it gets tiring after a few days of eating the same thing. Overall, if you're not interested in spending $$$ for one of the luxury Dubai properties, the Ibis will do just fine, especially if you can book for under $100/night.

This is only a 2* hotel because it has no room service, kettle in room or baths (all showers) but I found it a delightful oasis in a bustling area. I visited friends in grander hotels and they were crowded, noisy and some distance away from the venue - and very expensive. The Ibis was clean, peaceful and right next to the Conference venue. At night I slept well in a comfortable, clean bed with good air conditioning, excellent blackout blinds and - no noise. Delightful friendly staff and many of my colleagues chose to come and eat at Cubo, their excellent Italian restaurant. Brilliant value for money and I'd stay there again.

I know that it is a cheaper 'than-some' hotel but, I would have liked my room-service delivered to my room. Other than that, the staff were very polite and helpful which is something I have become very comfortable with in Dubai...

Excellent few days stay here. Very helpful staff and onsite restaurants reasonably priced. Definately recommended if like me you are on a budget and cannot aford to stay along Jumeirah Beach!
