Hotel Ibis Thornleigh

Overall the accommodation is nice and comfortable except for that staff who works there when we were checking out, very poor manners!

Have previously stayed at this hotel. Was disappointed to find out on arrival on Saturday night that the restaurant was now closed on the weekends with only a grab and go menu available...very basic stuff. I had invited 3 other people to join me at the hotel for dinner and had to find elsewhere at short notice.Still a clean and tidy hotel with basic shower/toilet module in room.

Only problem was that the aircon was very loud but room size and cleanliness was good.

It looked like to me it was an ex-Formula 1 hotel. Nevertheless, it turned out better than I expected. Liked the restaurant in the lobby for dinner and breakfast. TV is small. And the room is small too. But I would stay again, it is fine for overnight business trips.

Located very close to my work's Sydney head-quater, therefore my first choice when having to stay overnight. Friendly, efficient staff.

I found the facilities basic but good and the staff friendly and helpful. I will certainly stay there again when I need to travel to that part of Sydney.

THought each staff member most helpful and well mannered. Food for dinner was very good indeed. All was fine. WOuld have preferred much thicker and better for posture and head neck etc pillows. Otherwise suitable for type of hotel it is and price therefore ok. Altho did think the price first quited of $105 was indeed more the price worthiness than the $115. However, Not bad.

The Ibis Thornleigh was easily accessible by car and also provided for easy access to Pennant Hills Road whether travelling North or South. It is also handy to Thornleigh Railway Station and a number of off site restaurants. If we ever have a need to stay in that part of Sydney again, we will be back.

a plesant stay marred by my car being broken into in the car park loosing 500 dollars of equipment and a 100 premium to avis as it was a hire car they smashed. the seems the security cameras are only for show as i was only 20meters away from the main door.
