Location
Hotel H2O is a stone's throw away from Rizal Park, one of the most historical sites in the country. The hotel's location also provides a spectacular and unobstructed view of the famous Manila Bay sunset. Other attractions are Intramuros and Chinese Cemetery.

Taxi and other drivers don't know H2O hotel and it does not surprise me as it is only two years old and located inside Ocean Park, set back from Roxas Blvd. When you drive up to the hotel you notice that it is still a big construction site even though it opened in 2009 (that's the Philippines). The interior of the hotel though is very modern and elegant, the staff friendly and helpful and the rooms are quite spectacular. I stayed with 5 other friends and they all enjoyed it as much as I did. My room had a big saltwater aquarium with tropical fishes as a window and it was very soothing to sleep beside it. The bathrooms are glass and tiles, plenty of towels and amenities. Flat screen TV and good reception. As a new hotel it offered very nice and clean rooms and I enjoyed it. The bellboy took forever to bring my luggage, which was the only sour note in my stay. I had to leave early in the morning to catch my flight so I did not try out the breakfast. Overall it was a great deal for the money paid.

We checked in last Nov1, 2011 in their aqua room and stayed for only a few hours because we were not able to stand the suffocating rooms with low ceilings, no windows and ventilation. The moment we entered the room, we were greeted by a certain odor which could have resulted by lack of ventilation. I was so uncomfortable thinking that I was with my kids and they were inhaling air which was circulating all over the enclosed hotel, so unhealthy! I could just imagine the viruses and bacteria that were circulating in that very cramped place. The sheets on the bed seemed to have been used already, looked crumpled and did not smell clean. It was also very frustrating that when we arrived, the receptionist asked us to use an unfinished ramp with wires and pieces of wood hanging and no side handles or bars to keep us from falling. We insisted not to use that ramp and we were instructed instead to go through the main entrance of ocean park where there were so many people all around. i wouldn't suggest this hotel to anyone, specially when you are bringing kids, unless you want them to breathe unhealthy air. Terrible!

We stayed two nights in a Bayview room. The Hotel has very nice and modern rooms. The Hotel is located inside of the Ocean Park Center, so a very busy place with a lot of visitors. It was annoying to hear all night till 1am the loud music from the moonshine bar in front of the Bayview rooms. They start playing with music from 6am to 1am!! So you got only 5 hours of quiet sleep each night. The breakfast is excellent! The Hotel is good loacated to explore Manila, especially the Rizal Park and Intramuros are very close.

Oklahoma City to Manila, The hotel is "inside" the Ocean Park Tourist Aquarium, if you look for it on Google Earth. Great reasonably priced 24hr room service, Bring your own Coffee so you don't have to wait. I had Bayview room, just above patio disco, techno music kind of bumping into the night. Aqua lounge, laid back club. Rather Chic in atmosphere, I liked it, I recommend.
