Hotel Grand Fresa Akasaka
4 out of 5

Small room as expected in Tokyo, good location across road from metro. Friendly and helpful (English speaking) staff. Would stay again. Value marked down - but actually good for Tokyo!

Great location in the heart of Tokyo. Very very close to subway station and lots of options for food just a few minutes walk down the road. Room small, but cosy. Staff was helpful and friendly. Very well priced for what you are getting. Would definitely stay there again.

Rooms absolutely tiny and unfortunately smelt strongly of smoke, but probably normal for Tokyo. Service excellent, staff lovely and spoke English. Hotel is on the Chiyoda line so not as convenient as some, but great area for restaurants etc.

Lovely Little Hotel, however be prepared the rooms are super small they have the whole Zen thing going on, we had a double room based on 2 sharing. I can not knock this hotel, clean cosy and cute. If you are planning a few nights in erm prob a no no, only 1 english TV channel the rest japaness, you have the option to purchase a card at $10 per day your choice!! Location is amazing, subway right out side the hotel Akasaka line, and a 10 min walk or so into Roppongi. We only stayed 2 nights and to be honest that was enought for us. We are used to bigger rooms being from europe and really from our time here in tokyo/Japan small rooms are the norm this was just a bit smaller then others we had stayed in my husband being 6ft 2 didn't help addmittedly. Did I say this place is Clean clean clean and modern erm I think I did but i would defo recommend for a few nights.

Very clean hotel, but rooms are small (even by Tokyo standards). Location is right next to Akasaka subway stop with lots of restuarants and entertainment a short walk away.

Fantastic! My daughter and I loved our stay here. Great location with easy access to metro railway system (Akasaka station exit number 7 across the road). Staff at reception very helpful and polite. Rooms tiny but excellent quality - very clean. Free internet a bonus. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Ok room, but quite small, and no view from the windows. Very nice bathroom, good bed, nice looking with everything you need without being crowded.

Very small rooms as to be expected in Tokyo, but very clean and well maintained new rooms. This is primarily a business traveller's hotel, but we found the service to be helpful and adequate - very central location, across the street form one of the exits to Akasaka station.

Fantastic location, literally surrounded by Subway entrances. Centrally located for Tokyo and a great area if you are after easy access to loads of restaurants at night.

Excellent value for the price and location. Very close to Akasaka station, which offers easy access to shopping districts Harajuku, Shinjuku and Shibuya. Room is standard Japanese fare, utilitarianisticly small yet extremely neat and well seat up. Also across the road from TBS TV station (you may see some celebs) and Akasaka Sakusu which offers a lot of recognisable foods for foreign travellers if you are feeling a bit 'adventured out'

The hotel was very nice clean, and the staff were curteous and friendly. The location was near to the TBS building and Akasaka 'entertainment' district, which really didn't have any entertainment - some quiet restaurants and patchino halls. The room was nice and clean, albeit very small, and very comfortable.

nice clean hotel well situated in the City Center with direct access to the Subway. Very helpful and friendly staff. BF is a matter of taste - more japanese than continental but quite ok. Would stay there again.

Proximity to subway station is a plus. Akasaka Station Remember Exit 6 or 7. English spoken at front desk. Room is rather small. Breakfast is good value for money.

A very clean and neat hotel in a convenient postion. Our first room was so small we couldn't even fit our suitcases in, so we had to upgrade, but the second room was very nice with 2 bedrooms, however became quite expensive after the upgrade. The rooms are modern and nicely decorated with tea making facilities, free bottled water and a fridge. It was quiet, the beds comfortable and the windows opened for fresh air. Breakfast was nice on the first morning (Sunday) with a reasonable range of Western and Japanese style food, however the next 2 mornings the dishes were rather depleted. The reception staff were very friendly although there were only one or two who could speak much English, they all tried to help. Chisun is in a nice area of Tokyo - Akasaka, with plenty of places to eat nearby and 24hr supermarket 5 minutes away. Metro is 2 minutes down the road. I recommend this hotel, but don't go for the cheapest room unless you are on your own and have little luggage.

Hotel has a great location - subway entrance is just on the opposite side of the road. We were pleased by price to standard value. Service was great and we really enjoyed our time in Tokyo. I hope you will enjoy your time also.
