Spartan room amenities. In need of an overhaul. Rug worn, bath stained, bedding sparse. TV has NO channels in English or even subtitles. Will stay in another hotel next time.

the grand continental is a nice hotel. the location is very convenient to the centre of KL. the view on the city side is excellent/spectacular. the pool was closed indefinitely for renovations when i stayed there. the tv reception was poor and the channels were limited. the room service was poor - it took several requests for my order to be delivered, and the beer they served was warm, more than room temperature, closer to outside temperature. i had to put it in the freezer of the room bar fridge before i could drink it

i love this hotel, my room was huuuuuugeeeeee like a mini apartment, and the staff were great, i went out one day leaving a $1000 gold bracelet accidently on the table and still there when i got back, very impressed with everything, and the food was great and location is awesome, highly recommended, specially if u book with [website] and get this great rate because the normal prices for this exquisite hotel are astronomical - grab a bargain and get five star everything at this hotel

This hotel is 20 years out of date, location very poor, no mini bar or TV movies/sport as stated on there site. My advice would be to go somewhere else, the worst hotel I have stopped in and I travel all over the far east

The room was a bit on the small side but at that price it was ok. The location was good and our room had the view of the twin tower. Breakfast was just ok but we had snack later at nite and thought it was really good and tasty
