Helpful staff and clean room with good facilities. Only downside is room only has a fridge; no freezer section.

I already stayed twice in the Grand Chancellor Hotel in Brisbane in the last weeks, travelling Australia. (and will definitely come back) It was absolutely perfect, both times. The location is not far from Roma Street Station and in walking-distance of the CBD. The hotel is situated on top of a hill, so you have a great view from the rooms. It was definitely a great value for the money. The rooms (Standard Queen Room & Superior Queen Room) are spacious and clean and have modern and elegant amenities. But the very best was the staff. They were doing a great job and were always very friendly and helpful.

Overall excellent value with good initial reception, very comfortable rooms with view down the Brisbane River and 10 to 15 mins walk to the city or 5 minutes by bus.Would certainly use again without hesitation. Only suggestion for improvement might be to charge a more reasonable figure for continental breakfast which at $26 is rather steep. It is only rivalled by $29 for a traditional breakfast or $58 for two. There are however any number of cafes fairly close by offering similar fare for about half the price.

We stopped in Brisbane for one night before heading overseas. It was great value for a Saturday night and the walk to the city centre was only 7 minutes. Would stay there again.
