while the location is very good, the whole experience is spoiled by a lack of reasonable parking

This hotel was central to everything, the bar closed early every nite we were there,so only used it as a base>It was cheaper to eat out of hotel, plenty of cafes with full breakfasts for $10,and plenty of eateries nearby for dinner. Was pretty old furnishings, and the internet charge was disgusting 17c a min or $45 a day,and no wifi.Wouldn't stay again but it was ok.

Arrived at reception to check in and was advised due to a computer glitch the hotel was overbooked even though I made the booking a month in advance. BUT the hotel made up for it by booking me into a one bedroom apartment at the Medina Grand a couple of blocks away at no extra cost and even offered to pay for a cab to get me there. Got value for money in the end so cannot comment on the hotel I actually booked.

We checked into the hotel and were told immediately that we would have to move rooms at least once during our 4 night stay that was booked 8 MONTHS ago. We said that we preferred to stay in ONE room so we were given another room number. We went out to run some errands and came back to find it was a handicapped room. The whole bathroom flooded when you had a shower including the toilet seat.. We were told that we could move rooms and then we would not be able to move rooms..... the Duty Manager was argumentative and NOT helpful. So we walked the Hindley Street property to meet with the General Manager. We explained our plight and two phone calls later the Duty Manager was told to sort the problem out. I would have thought booking a hotel room 8 months out from a date would guarentee that there would be an allocated room..... this is not the case.

I was staying for busines and this hotel provides all the basics for a business or leisure stay. A good location and even economy room had a desk which made working easy.

For the business jet setter after a CBD getaway with the comforts of a relaxation spa, this is for you. Adelaide fringe festival was only two streets away yet in the years downtime, the alleys are filled with talented buskers and performers. Modern artwork and sculptures in an old set revamped city landscape, many sites to see. Bus station right out front of hotel to start your journeys means you can rest your feet at the end of a long day on your trip home.

The room was beautiful, shower had very good water pressure, the only bad thing is the bus to take me to the airport drove straight past me and I had to find a taxi. I think it would be better if the bus actually picked you up from the front door and not the busy street. I loved my time at the Hotel.

This hotel has a lot of charm which made for a pleasant stay in Adelaide. The rooms were spacious and they catered for all our needs. The service was good and the staff helpful and friendly. Good food at the restaurant but they are not open on Saturday nights. There are other places near by where you can eat though.
