Hotel Gedik Pasa Konagi Istanbul Guest Reviews
The hotel is easy enough to find. Get off the metro at Beyazit stop, walk to the end of the station (towards) the Blue Mosque/Hagia Sophia area, and make the first right down the main road (Burger King will be on your right). From there is about 0.5 km down hill (which gets progressively steeper). Hotel is on the right. I give this information in detail, because it's not on the website, the people at the hotel speak poor English, and everyone in the area kept giving me wrong directions which led to walking around for an hour. You are close to the Grand Bazar and Blue Mosque/Hagia Sophia which is good. The service at the hotel is decent. ecasue I got in so late, I got the room on the first floor, so basically I was sleeping in the lobby surrounded by walls. Needless to say it was very noisy. I could hear evryone outside and inside. Breakfast was weak and the TV was difficult to work (never actually saw anything). The price was good, but I would look elsewhere if you can find better reviews.
