Located in a quiet neighbourhood in Amsterdam, this property is just a short walk from the beautiful Vondel Park. The old city centre is within walking distance as well are the main museums, art galleries and entertainment and shopping areas.

Great hotel with great service. Had a room with a view over the garden - fantastic! Was however surprised to find the room cheaper at the hotel than what I paid online.

The hotel is in a pleasant and convenient location for the park and museums. It has a nice garden, but the hotel itself is rather shabby. There were no mini-bar, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, decent toiletries or even tissues in the room. It has no restaurant or proper bar although there are plenty close by. It is a glorified B&B. Worst of all, having hung the "Do not Disturb" sign on the door, I received a phone call from reception asking if I wanted my room serviced, whilst there was a lot of very ostentatious banging, clattering and vacuuming going on outside the door. For the price and location it was only reasonable value, rather than the "bargain" I had hoped for. I find it hard to recommend, it needs a thorough overhaul.

Staff very helpful and friendly, rooms great and location very good for exploring city while being away from crowds.
