Location
Convenient for visitors arriving by train, it is just a two minute walk from Geneva's main railway station and a short walk to the jetty where ferries cruise the lake. For guests interested in history the Parc des Bastions and the Reformation Wall are within walking distance on the opposite side of the lake.
Rooms
The Cristal's 70 rooms are clean and minimal, and all feature en suite bathroom, wireless Internet connection, air conditioning, and telephone with voicemail.
Restaurant
Breakfast is served in the hotel's restaurant. Guests can choose from a selection of fruit juices, tea, coffee, pastries, fresh fruit and cereals.
General
The Hotel is a good choice for visitors who want to stay in the centre of Geneva. There are many attractions such as the lake and the Jet d'Eau right on the doorstep and guests also have the option of using the fitness facilities and sauna of the Hotel Cornavin which is only one hundred and fifty meters away.

Designer rooms are small yet well arranged. TV panels could have been bigger. The only set back is no breakfast service.

It was very close to the train station - I bascially walked through the "metro shopping" area and it was there on the left corner as soon as I reached sunlight. EXCELLENT! Only about 15min walk down to Lake Geneva, where you can see Jet d'Eau in front of you. There are street signs everywhere that point you in the right direction of this hotel, which was great! The staff weren't as attentive as I had hoped and security in the main lobby was a little questionable - I left my suitcase in the "large baggage room" (which actually only had enough space for about 10 suitcases) but it didn't even lock and anyone could walk right in off the street, go in the room, and take it without the staff noticing. Other than that, the room was quaint and great for one student.

Great stay in Geneva! If you can't sleep with noise from the street take some ear plugs...

Situated conveniently very near Rail Station and centre of Geneva. The side road front entrance is on is very untidy. Room at back of hotel looks onto an area where rubbish is collected. It is noisy late evening and early morning. No double glazing. Restaurant area very clean. Good for a short stay.

La rue Pradier où se trouve l'hôtel est très bruyante. Internet sans fil payant. Absence totale de service de la part du personnel ; on a oublié mon réveil le matin de mon départ!!!
