Hotel Colosseum Rome Guest Reviews
Could not have asked for anything better for a hotel rated 3 star. The hotel was used as a place to sleep, shower up and have a quick breakfast. Breakfast was self serve and consisted of a small assortment of meats, breads, yogurts, cereals and cheeses. Would have liked to have fresh fruit and juices. There was an orange drink, something like "Tang" and one that was red which I did not try. The room was very clean, I never saw ANY kind of bug and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was on a very quiet residential street. It was maybe a 5-10 minute walk from Metro Cavour which was great, we were able to walk or take the subway to everywhere we wanted to go. We felt very safe and secure there at the hotel and the whole area around the hotel.

Went with a friend and his mother. He took his mother to celebrate her 75th birthday. We used the room basically for a place to sleep and clean up. The hotel exceeded our expectations. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was very clean and in a great location. We were about 10 minute walk from the metro (Cavour) stop. Hotel is in a residential area so very quiet at night when trying to sleep. The booking came with breakfast, this could have been better. There was an array of breads, ham, salami, cheese, 1 type of cereal and granola and yogurt. The breakfast could have been better if they had fresh fruit and fresh juice. What was offered was enough to get us going. I would definitely stay there again. We had a triple room which had 3 single beds. As with any European hotel it was small but served it's purpose. Overall it was a great experience.

Not a bad location, but a bit too far to walk to most places. Better to stay closer to the older part of town. Staff were uniformly miserable in a town that was much friendlier than I had expected.
