Location

Hotel Club Florence Guest Reviews
When I made the booking, I choose this hotel for the location, not far from the station and a 15min walk to the city centre. And also because of all the hotels I had a look at it looked the best for it's value. First impression wasn't so good. At the check in the staff weren't really helpfull, afterwards it was better. The big dissapointment of the hotel was the room. The room didn't look anything like the ones in the pictures. Perhaps we were in an old room that hadn't been refurbished yet. Bits of wall paper missing, bathroom was clean but still mold was visible especially on the showercurtain. On the pictures the rooms look luminuous. Our room was oldfashioned and rather dark. There is also a noisy street next to the hotel and when the bars close there was a lot of noise. Breakfast was good, different things to choose from. Orange juice wasn't good and on our last day when we arrived a half hour before breakfast finished almost nothing was left and it wasn't refilled.

Location unbeatable. Breakfast a bit disappointing. Lifts and floors criss-crossed in a funny way.

This hotel is a dive. We changed room once because of the state of the room and the fact that one of the beds had all the slats missing in the middle and when you sat on it you went right through the matress to the floor! The second room had mosquitoes in November and one of my kids got bit to pieces. We had additional beds for 2 kids but don;t bother as the floor is more comfortable. Breakfast is poor quality, service and facilities are below average (don't care attitude). The only plus is that it's a walk from the railway station (we did it with 2 large suitcases and 2 kids under 5) and walkable to a lot of the sights.

The hotel wasn't by any means three star hotel any more! The carpets in the corridors were really worn out,you could hear everything from corridors and from next door room, the breakfast was poor also..
