A very good hotel and excellant value,helpfull staff.A great location for old town square and metro.Only down side was the beds were very hard but would stay there again.

i have recommended the mercure hotel to my work colleagues, we have stayed at this hotel the three times we have visited prague, room was spotless, service and staff i could not fault, plus the buffet breakfast sets you up for the day.

Hotel is centrally located yet in a quiet area of the Old Town. Building work is going on next door, but is not an inconvenience. Hotel can provide taxi transport to/from the airport at a cost of 590kc, which is reasonable. Franz Kafka, the writer worked there from 1908-1922, and his office is now room 214, which is the room we were given on check in.
