This hotel is exactly what it sets out to be: a very good quality 3 star hotel. The staff are extremely helpful; the rooms are spotlessly clean. I stayed in a double room on my own. There was just enough cupboard space; nowhere for my suitcase except beside the bed. Fine for one person, but it would have been very cramped for 2. I did not try the breakfast so cannot comment on that.

Quiet hotel at the far end of the historic Latin Quarter: a few steps away from the wonderful rue Mouffetard daily market and amazing food shops. Lots and lots of restaurants et cetera in the area. I was given a different room upon request when, just outside my window, scaffolding and workmen's tools indicated that I'd have a rude awakening in the very early morning. Good service. Incidentally, Restaurant 'La Forge', just two doors down from the hotel, is recommended too.

An adequate quiet hotel that matched the price range. The breakfast was one I have had many many times elsehwere. Staff friendly and the was an air of calm in the hotel - maybe we were lucky as it wasnt full. Room was well decorated and a good choice of pictures!

I have been most satisfied with this hotel. The room is nice and clean. Renovation is currently underway, but it did not bother me. Breakfast, however, is not included, and it is rather expensive - 14 Euros!

Rooms are among the nicest 3 star accommodation in which I have stayed in Paris. However, the rooms are quite small. Close to a Metro station, and most major sites are on this same line, so very convienient. Staff very helpful.

Small but pleasant room - clean, modern & quiet with cable TV, hairdryer & a good bathroom/shower. Breakfast was a small but nicely presented buffet with fresh bread, croissants, juice, tea & coffee, yoghurt. Location is good for an overnight stay (we were just in transit through Paris - alas) The hotel is an easy walk from several metro stations and just down the street is a lovely pedestrianised street with plenty of cafes, restaurants & some fabulous Parisian food shops. I thought this was a good deal at the discounted rate.

Me and a friend stayed at Cardinal Rive Gauche for a weekend in March. We got a newly renovated room so it could have been nicer than others. The rooms are not very big but enough for 2. The location is great since it's close to Rue Moufftard with restaurants, bars and bistros. It takes 30 minutes to walk to Rue du Rennes and the area around St Michel (Notre Dame). We didn't use the subway at all. There's a nice bar across the street with Mojitos for 6 euros and very nice staff.

The location is good for those who do not want the hassle of the Latin Quarter, but within easy reach of good restaurants. Good breakfast, small rooms but tidy.

Lovely quiet friendly hotel about half an hours walk from the centre of Paris. The area had a great feel, with lots of little shops & a market selling lots of gorgeous French delicacies, it was also close to the Jardin Botanic.

We were very impressed with this hotel clean and reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English. The metro station was quite close, although not on a main sightseeing line but you can get a larger metro map at the stations and once we got the hang of the stations it was very easy to manage for sightseeing. The hotel is set in a lovely part of Paris with fountains, markets and delightful shops all nearby. All in all we would reccomend this hotel to anyone going to paris .

Excellent price as a last minute booking. Friendly staff and convenient buffet breakfast which was included in the price. Room was modern but small and overlooked buildings. Would recommend for a short stay!
