While the room was overall good, the noise level, even with closed windows was rather high. The breakfast was average with much better experience in several two stars in the Lausanne area.

This is the best hotel I've stayed in when in Switzerland. The rooms although fairly basic are exceptionally clean. They sell themselves short on the breakfast they offer, which is more than adequate. Although the hotel is 10 mins from the main rail station it is in very quiet surroundings.
