Location
Situated at the southern end of Lake Como near to the Basilica of San Fedele and the History Museum, the Barchetta is easily accessible from the autostrada. The San Giovanni station is short taxi ride away, and for visitors arriving at Milan's airports there are good public transport links.

The women at the front desk were amazing, the lacation was the best you could hope for, we loved it. We walked everywhere and the boats to cross the lake were just across a beautiful square w/ restaurants and shops. We would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Como. Enjoy and Caio

Lovely location overlooking the lake but a very busy area and finding it, even with a sat nav was a nightmare. Parking is then another challenge as this is at a sister hotel and you have to walk your bags back to the Barchetta. Decor is rather dated and the food wsa average - a bit of a dispapointmnt really

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Barchetta Excelsior Como. Its location was excellent and we loved the view of the lake which our room provided. The staff was accommodating and the service could not be outdone. We would recommend this hotel highly to anyone who would be vacationing in the Lake Como region.

lovely hotel in a great spot. Watch the lift, it really does not take anymore than 3 people or it jams!!
