pros; helpful staff, clean rooms and amenities, convenient location, good breakfasts, cons; only one english television channel and terrible movies options, one movie channel with a fixed schedule, and 2 adult channels that my 10 year old had easy access to until we found out about it!!

Been staying in Tokyo hotels for past 6 years. Many more expensive but this is best by mile. Travelling with wife & 12 yo daughter. Super efficient front counter & excellent english. Very helpful with local knowledge & making bookings for you. Free bottled water in reception a nice touch. Excellent Western & Japanese breakfast included at restuarant located within the building. Excellent access to metro line (5 minute walk) servicing major destinations. Very good BBQ Grill (Yakiori) restaurant 3 minute walk from hotel. Go to end of street turn right down 50m on oposite side of road 1st floor above clam bar.

This hotel is a great find. Location is ideal: 3 subway lines are a 5 minute walk. To give you an idea of the neighborhood, it's three blocks from the Ritz Carleton and located on a very quiet street. The quietest rooms of any hotel I have ever stayed in. Lobby and rooms are spotless. Fluffy towels. Rooms are tiny but manageable. Included is a full buffet breakfast (American and Japanese food) with freshly baked breads. You can watch the baker at work. Obviously, I will stay here the next time I'm in Tokyo.

A few subway stations to Shibuya and Sinjiku. Also Ginza and Asakusa can be reached easily by Ginza-subway line. Roppongi is 15 minutes on foot for a evening walk. Nicely located just between residents area and modern offices. There are many good and reasonable restaurants near by. Perhaps slightly inconveninet for a beginner to reach the hotel. Take a limousine bus from Narita to Akasaka Tokyu Excel or Imperial hotel, from where one can take a taxi for JPY 900.-. Hotel price includes breakfast for foreign guests, which is great! This is my 4th stay at this hotel and my wife and I can rcommend this hotel for those who really want to enjoy Tokyo down town.

This was my first visit to Tokyo and I was very happy with my stay at this hotel. The service was outstanding - for eg when left to go for a walk and noticed it had started to rain - I turned to go back to my room but reception handed me an umbrella without me even asking. They were always friendly and efficient and handed me my key without me even saying the number! The breakfast was fantastic in a very pleasant room with gentle background music and staff continuously topping up supplies. Most importantly I slept extremely well in a quiet, comfortable and clean room. Thank you very much.
