Hotel Antico Palazzo Rospigliosi Rome Guest Reviews
Overall we were pretty happy with this hotel. It had a great location, next to a Santa Maria Maggorie church, just over 5 minutes from Termini station and a nice 15 min walk to the Colosseum. It was very expensive though - about 100 euros per person per night for a twin room in May 2009 (most Rome hotels seem to be very overpriced though) and I would say it was more of a 3 star rather than 4 star hotel. Breakfast was ok but they only 2 hot dishes which were the same everyday for the 4 nights we stayed - eggs and frankfurt sausages. It does have a nice garden courtyard on the first floor and a small library to relax in. We stayed in room 105 which was pretty small with a shower but no bath. However it was clean, had a fridge and very importantly had a good aircon system that was quiet overnight! Overall despite some minor negative comments above we were happy enough to have stayed here and would recommend it as an ok but somewhat expensive 3 star tourist hotel to stay in Rome.

The room was really small and the stone floor created a cold feeling, even though it was beautiful.
