While the rooms, pool/fireplace, common areas and fitness facility are all very nice, there is not a single coke machine to be found on the property.Water, juices and cokes cannot be purchased on any floor. Goodies are provided in the room, but not a single coke product. Odd to be missing a basic creature comfort for such a thoughtfully and tastefully done hotel.

On a one day/night trip to LA/Beverly Hills my boyfriend and I stayed at Hotel Angeleno. This place is right off of the 405. Though you can hear some traffic at night, the room was just beautiful! Very clean and has everything that you need. They also had complimentary wine at 5:30 in the lobby. It is also located right below the Getty! Definitely will stay here again.

Everything was good, but the room was too noisy to have a good night sleep, and I am not a light sleeper. Our room was right next to the highway and the noise was annoying and non-stop all the way through the night. Add to that an outdated very old air conditioner making the noise of a propeller train every time it turns on.

My girlfriend and I checked into the Hotel Angeleno last Saturday the 26th. We are in a long-distance relationship so I wanted to treat her to a nice place on her last night here. The only other time I had been to the Angeleno was for a work party on the top floor and I thought it was a good bet. I booked a suite knowing that we may want to entertain some friends of mine in the area. Overall it was the worst experience I’ve ever had coming from Hotel staff, and here are the reasons why. 1. Major problem – When I check in they say there’s been a problem, due to construction my suite was not available. To make up for it, they offered a room at a discount or two connecting rooms at the same price. Seriously what am I going to do with two bedrooms, that’s useless. I took the one room at a discounted price, but more importantly, why wasn’t I made aware of this construction before checking in??!!! 2. Minor problem – The food isn’t great. We had dinner upstairs. Her fish was cooked with a sauce that was above the skin, rendering the fish very bland. I forget what side we had but I remember not being very impressed. However I’ll admit that we are avid food critics. 3. INEXCUSABLY MAJOR PROBLEM – The night man Diego declaring we are kicked out of the hotel. Let’s start at the beginning. Our guests and us leave the bar upstairs just as it’s closing to go back to our room. (Now’s when it would of have been better to have a suite.) We decided to try and see if it was too late to order a bottle of wine to the suite to entertain our guests. My girlfriend calls down to the front desk (Diego) to see if this was possible. Diego tells her to go up to the bar and get it there. She has the impression after talking to him that we just need to go up there and pick it up. (Being the concierge, why didn’t he just call up?) I walk up to the bar, which seems pretty closed down. I talk to a man in a jacket who works there, he says there is no way. I go back down to the room empty handed, my girlfriend is confused because she was under the impression they were expecting me up there. We go down to see Diego. When we explain what just happened, Diego starts by quizzing us. “Did you call room service? Who did you talk to upstairs? Was it the bar manager? Go back up and talk to the bar manager.” It is immediately obvious that he is playing games, as he knew that my girlfriend had just called him on the phone about this and not room service. I explain (and am getting angry at this point because I would just like a straight answer) that I don’t know what the position was of the person that I talked to upstairs, I didn’t appreciate being shuffled around the hotel, and he should call up there for us to find out. He goes back into the office and gets on a walkie-talkie to try to talk to someone upstairs. When he comes back he explains that they are all gone and there’s nothing he can do. At this point my girlfriend has gotten angry (and it all could of have been avoided if he just acted like a concierge and called up to the bar for us from the beginning) and tells him he’s doing a bad job. At this Diego completely flips out. He says we are “Kicked off the premises! You can’t have your wine and you talk about my job. You’re out!” Yes, for real. Jesus man, just say you’re terribly sorry about the confusion but the bar is closed. Obviously I told him we weren’t going anywhere and that we would speak to a manager in the morning. I was livid. Our guests are upstairs, not in a suite that I ordered, and we’re sent on a wild goose chase looking for a simple bottle of wine that ends in being, “Kicked off the premises!” 4. Minor Problem – We ordered room service for breakfast. It took a few calls before someone would even answer the phone. When the food is delivered we find out that they literally have one person answering calls, cooking food, and delivering it to the rooms. Yikes… 5. Last Major Problem – When I checked out, I asked to see the manager. I explained the pr

We absolutely loved our hotel. The lobby was beautiful and smelled fantastic. The wine reception every night from 5:30 till 6:30 was exceptional . Enjoying a glass of wine by the outside fire every night was delightful. The West restaurant had some of the most amazing food I have ever had .....the only downside to our stay was the construction . The noise Inside and outside of the hotel was at times unbearable. The construction on the 16th floor caused us to have to move our room in the middle of the stay, the construction on the 405 made it a huge headache to even get to the hotel.

While Brentwood is a nice area of LA it is nowhere near any of the tourist sites of the city. You'll be driving at least 30 minutes to get anywhere. Overall it's a decent hotel. The lobby and pool area are lovely. They offer a free wine hour in the lobby every day which was nice. They offered free Wi-Fi but charged 4.95 to use the computer in the business office for 10 minutes of internet. I found that odd. My friends and I ate breakfast at the restaurant every morning. There is a beautiful view of LA. We enjoyed the food very much. The servers were nice but very slow. It seems they couldn't handle more than a few tables. The rooms are very small but clean. However, the housekeeper never cleaned out the coffee filter from the previous guest. They did not leave toilet paper when it was low but gave extra shampoo. They also came at 8:30 am which I think is a bit early. If they work out the kinks it would be a really nice hotel.

Our stay was good. There is a lot of vehicle noise and some of it was due to ramp construction at this location. Just keep the room heat/air conditioner blower on constant and the noise is not so noticeable. The bed is extremely comfortable and the staff is very friendly and helpful with any questions. Would stay here again.

The Hotel was in a great location with views of the Getty Museum; however the construction was a huge problem, when we arrived the exit was closed so we had to figure out how to get there. The curtains were dirty and the carpet was installed improperly...buckled in our room. Although we were offered to change rooms..we feel this should have been inspected prior to assignment. Restaurant Staff was excellent at the top of the hotel.

Everything went smooth at this hotel from the check-in, the room itself, the stay and check out. We were in LA for a long weekend and planned to see all the sites and this hotel was centrally located and provided easy access to all. Unfortunately we did not get the change to use the pool or make it up to the restaruant but this hotel met our expectations. The bedding was remarkable but the room is starting to show a little wear in tear (door handles falling off).

Hotel was easy to find and access from freeway easy, also quite close to my meeting locale. Check-in and out easy and uncomplicated and no problems encountered. Amenities enough for the purpose of my visit , not in excess however.

I can't begin to describe what a wonderful hotel this is. From the front desk staff to the restaurant staff to the wonderful gentlemen at the valet service, everyone and I mean everyone was wonderful. They inquired about our day, were helpful when we had questions and always had smiles on their faces. The room was extremely cleam and spacious. I am a light sleeper and thought that the traffic noise might be an issue but it wasn't - I slept like a baby. The free shuttle service was so great - they took us to The Getty (which is in their back yard by the way) and to the UCLA campus area. The drivers were kind and helpful and ON TIME!!! In LA - wow!!! I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again. We loved it!!!

My boyfriend and I took our first vacation in three years and stayed at the Hotel Angeleno for over 10 days. Firstly, the valet parking was the best. You could just call down to the valet's whenever you wanted your car and it would be ready for you when you came down. The valet's were also very nice and would always help you into your car and with your luggage. The interior of the hotel was also very much my personal style, clean, modern furniture, neutral tones. It was very soothing. The room itself was not that big, but for as much time as we spent in the room it was just fine. The bed was VERY comfortable and more than big enough for two. I know other reviewers complained about the noise, but while I was on the freeway side of the hotel, I could not hear a thing! It was very quiet. The restaurant was fantastic. The food was always very fresh and it was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced for what you got. The view is also stunning and become our favorite place to go for a quiet lunch or a late night dessert. Location was also great as it is right off the 405 so any destination was within 20 minutes. While there was construction on the 405 when I stayed, it was still quite easy to get around. All and all a great hotel and I would definitely return.

The Hotel it self is amazing. The view is gorgeous and the rooms are beautiful. The service however is horrible. We waited for ever for someone to come to the front. OH! let me tell you. PARKING IS NOT INCLUDED. i would think that they have parking for the people who come in and spend a night. NOPE! They only have valet and it is 18$. over all it was nice but the parking and service was horrible.
