The Hotel location was great and the rooms were nice. When we arrived we checked in and came to find we were placed in a smoking room. the room reeked of smoke. We asked to be moved and were told there were no other rooms. The front desk gave us air freshener but that did not get the smell out of the bed. There were some kind of stains on the floor, may have been bleach stains. Positive notes location is right in old town, good price, small parking lot for you vehicle.

Excellently situated in a small, quiet square only a minute or two's stroll from the Old Town square - I don't think the location could be any better! Our room was better appointed and more comfortable than expected - it was tastefully designed and even had space for a large couch. On the night we stayed there was a king-hell storm that apparently flooded the kitchen - but they were still able to lay on a tasty and varied cold breakfast table the following morning. Top marks there. Friendly and helpful staff too. We've no hesitation in recommending the hotel, and if we're ever in Kaunas again (a distinct possibility, it was our first visit to Lithuania and we loved it) this is where we'll stay.
