Easy to get to by tram from the Old town and railway station. Not in the more interesting Old Town. Reception staff friendly. Room small but OK except the airconditioning was not functioning properly and maintained the room at 28C - a little hot for sleeping. Staff expressed concern but nothing was done about it. Breakfast buffet was ordinary. Food and accommodation 4star cost but 3star standard. Had prepaid 2 nights, otherwise would have left after one.

Overall a very nice and friendly hotel. The staff was very helpful, the service was very good too. However, breakfast was average and did not have any variety. The other annoying fact was there were no baby changing facilities in the entire hotel! Barring these two inconveniences, our experience was very good. Would recommend ti others.

The only point I found to be good for this hotel was the tram right across the street which ran frequently and timely. The hotel was only 5 stops away from the train station - so traveling back and forth was easy.

I coudn't use the spa. Particular group(no common sence) used tha pool and sauna. The staff didnt help, could not manage this probrem. I have had sad feeling and bad memory at Berne.
