The F1 race was this weekend so the price for everything was inflated. Should have been $60US instead of $100. If you can get the room for $50-60US, it would be better! It's 4 blocks to the train and $2.30S to go downtown. Good as a place to crash but that's about it. Room was clean but spartan.

The hotel is far away from the. Mtr we9 , but it is easy to take bus to the mrt station , china town and viva city To the change airport is very short and under 20 dollars .

I booked the hotel even knowing it's located in red light disctrict. Hotel is a bit walk to tram stop. There were heaps old guys staring us when we walking along the street which make us super unconfortable. So avoid this hotel @ this area if you can. Heaps restaurant around that period. Just dunt feel safe during nite time.

Geylang is a special Red Light District in Singapore. So , the day and night scenery in the streets is different from the CBD or tourist spots .Just for a night stay is ok , but not suitable to go with children.A lot of cheap food stalls nearby.

You get a small room with aircon that stays on all night, a bathroom that is a wetroom with shower. You get a kettle. Worth the money. If you want a balcony, opening windows, bar, fridge, breakfast, you need to spend more! Location is good, next to a busy street with lots of food places. Also the red light district, but didn't feel the place was dodgy or threatning in any way, It's not particularly close to any touristy places, but I liked that. If you want to hang out with the backpackers, you want a backpackers hostel. You can walk to little India in about an hour, or to Beach Road
