Perfect location, size, and very comfortable! Staff was also very friendly. Also parking was only $33!! Can't beat that for 24hrs in Manhatten!

the hotel was nice, checking in was a breeze, the cable was a little tweaky at first but bathroom was nice the room was small but was at a great rate, located close to some great irish bars, checking out though was different the hotel staff when i went to the front desk just had a negative attitude and looked at me like i had a sign on that said i was an idiot, other than that it was great, and there is a starbucks right in the lobby

This was poor value for the price. The room is very small, there is little space to hang your clothes, you can barely move in the room when your suitcase is there, and the bathroom is very tiny. The only amenity is free wifi. It is next door to Starbucks. If the price were $50 less per night it would be a better value. I don't recommend staying there more than a couple of nights. It is just too small.

The hotel is in a perfect location to facilitate a weekend getaway to see the sights, catch a show, or shop in New York. The hotel's staff and general room cleanliness are excellent. The hotel does not live up to its "chic boutique" appeal as promised by the website because low water pressure, poor access to the window hampered by an in-window air conditioner, and the poor ability to govern the room's temperature make for less than optimal room comfort. These issues also make the price seem high for the hotel's offering. Bottom line: The room is great if you are planning to spend all of your visit outside of the hotel.

This hotel was in a good location for us. We like to walk all over and spend as much time in soho/ the village as in midtown, so we didn't mind being a little out of the Times Square area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was small, but clean and comfortable. Free Wi Fi was a plus, beds were very comfortable. No complaints.

Very convenient location on fifth avenue. The entry seems to be a little hard to find since we missed it the first time. The room is clean and comfortable.

The Hotel was located in a very nice spot on 5th Avenue. The staff was very pleasant. The only gripe was that the Hotel room was smaller than the pictures showed. Other than that, we weren't in the Hotel that long but did not know about the room size.

Gerne wieder!

I really liked this smart boutique hotel. The room is very small, but every square foot was smartly utilized and tastefully decorated. I frequently visit the city on business and I like the fact of the no muss no fuss lobby. You walk in, check in and are up in your room in minutes. Also, you can't get past the desk, without the efficient check-in guys knowing whom you are, so that too is a safety factor. It is close to Penn Station so I can walk to the hotel and I really like the location. Will certainly make this hotel my go-to place.

The 4 stars is for the service and helpfulness of the guys at the front desk. The hotel is average, but very comfortable beds and kept very clean. We did not travel with children but I would NOT recommend it, hallways and rooms were too small for more than a couple. The location was perfect, walking distance to everything we wanted to do and see as well as a short walk to the subway, which we utilized with the help of the staff. Next time we visit, we may spring for a a fancier hotel and actually spend the money for a little more space. But, overall we were pleased. Loved having the starbucks downstairs and being so close to Grand Central Station. The hotel is more of a 2-3 star caliber, but once again.. we were NEVER in our room so it really was a good value for what we paid.

Pros: Location. At 35th and 5th, easy to get to via Penn station (a little walk) and easy to get to by taxi in the evening. The Starbucks right downstairs is convenient for a quick snack or drink. Good shopping uptown on 5th, and if you like Korean cuisine (or want a nice massage for cheap) go to Korea town on 32nd. Cleanliness: no complaints. The carpet felt comfortable to walk on, the shower was clean and the room smelled nice. Service: complimentary water and a polite wait staff was a plus. There's only one person at the desk, so if you have to wait for a couple minutes, try to relax rather than get an attitude. Cons: Size: the size of the room was tight, and made tighter by the large ac unit. Bathroom was tight too. I'm 6' and 190. The wife is 5'4, 100. Be aware. There's only one elevator, and the entryway is tight. Look, the place has to keep a small footprint...but for the price, I didn't mind. Concierge: you're not getting concierge service here...you'll get directions and be pointed in the right direction, but hey, you're at the foot of the empire state building. If you want a tour, just step outside. If you want a slice of pizza, just head down to 34th street. A papaya dog is there too.

We stayed at the hotel for 6 nights and we were very pleased about the friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were clean as we arrived, although the bathroom could have been cleaned up a little more in my opinion. The room itself was very small and pretty full after we placed our two large suitcases along the wall and on the only present chair. The room did not have a wardrobe or cabinet or such where one can store his clothes during the stay. I guess it is the state of the art in Manhattan and compared to the price the hotel is great and we had no problems at all to get around in the room with two people. The location is perfect. Right across the Empire State Building, one could be at the Flat Iron District, as well as at Times Square within just a couple of minutes. I would always recommend the hotel and we were both very satisfied.
