Hotel 1929 Singapore Guest Reviews
The hotel located in the famous tourist area, if you like historical building, it's worth to choose this hotel. I think the nearby area is also newly "renovated", which gives you a relaxing feeling. The room is neat and tidy though a little bit small, you can feel the stylish interior design anyway. Free Coke and bottle water is provided in the room. Breakfast is ok although u won't have many choices. Staff are very nice and helpful. It's worth to stay there again, defintely for single traveler.

This is a very funky hotel with some of the most helpful and friendly staff I have ever encountered in SE Asia. The room was small, although very well designed use of space made it very comfortable. It's located in a great part of Singapore only a few minutes walk away from shops, bars and an excellent hawkers market where some of Singapore's famous street food is available for next to no cost. I arrived quite ill after a week in Bangladesh and the staff at 1929 were like angels in the way they helped my wife and I. This hotel has changed my perceptions of Singapore. Highly recommended!

What a fantastic hotel! My single room was - as they say - small but perfectly formed. The hotel is decidedly upmarket, in the middle of China Town, and the staff are incredibly friendly. The sun terrace and jacuzzi on the 2nd floor are a welcome bonus. It's a great hotel - well worth a visit.
