Perfect location for downtown. Easy walking distance to freedom trail, fenway park, boston common, and all shopping. Room was very clean and modern. Also very safe you need you room key to get in the elevators. Will store your bags after check out if you aren't leaving until later.

Went to a show. Bathroom needs shelf or table to put toiletries.

Rooms small (converted YWCA), and bathrooms therefore added at later date. Some extraneous noise from neighbour; flushing lavatory. Staff helpfull. Site fine for exploring Boston on foot: plenty of eating places. Train station very close, with public transport from airport quick and easy. Megabus to NY even closer. The new highest skyscraper in Boston looms 'over it' but black glass with reflection strangely attractive!

A great position handy to Back Bay rail and Boston underground. Walking distance to City. Coffee/Tea making facilities would be nice. Good light breakfast supplied. We stayed on fifth floor and was a bit clinical with no carpets in rooms or hallway. Free wireless internet & laundry facilities were a bonus. Would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting good a hotel at a good price

This is a great hotel, very reasonably priced and a very good location. The rooms are modern and newly renovated but may be a little small for American standards, although fine for me. The hallways have not been renovated but this is not a big issue. Amenities are pretty basic. There is a cafe attached from which good breakfasts and lunches may be purchased, but it is shut in the evenings and there is no room service available. There are a range of restaurants nearby, however. Finally, this hotel is well situated for both the financial quarter and Back Bay Station, and ideal for hitting Newbury St and the Prudential Center/Copley Plaza shops.

Bigger Bed would have been idea as lots of room for one in our room. Shower should have had a warning notice regarding very slippery floor surface when wet a non slip mat in the shower would have been useful, no shelf to hold soap or shampoo. Bedside cabinets would have been useful instead of the shelving unit above head. Tea or coffee making facilities would be an idea plus complimentary shampoo. But it is an idea location to see all Boston's sights.

Lovely hotel in a good location, only 200 meters from Back Bay Station. Rooms were very clean and modern with pleasant colours and soft furnishings. Iron and ironboard in room, big plus! Bathroom small but spotless and the shower pressure excellent. Staff very friendly and informative. Downstairs there is a food place with a great selection of breakfast choices and good coffee. I will stay at Hotel 140 Boston again as I found the whole experience very good indeed.
