Horton Grand Hotel is located within a 5 minute walk of the San Diego convention Center. I enjoyed the location and service. However, amenities leave much to be desired. No internet was available.

We really enjoyed this hotel. We have stayed in the past and like the architecture and historic relevence. The fireplace adds a nice ambiance however it was too hot to use this trip. I will stay at this hotel again in the future.

The hotel is well located near a shopping center, grocery stores and close to many restaurants, noisy at nights. It is an old hotel, got the fire place room, it was kind of creepy to me, the bed was comfortable but with odd style to me I did not like it, also I could hear the steps of people in the room above me. Staff was not kind when I arrived late night, but when I check out the person who was in the counter was very kind.

Hotel is in a great location downtown. The hotel has an antique store kind of feel. Everything was in working order and the staff was very friendly.
