Good. There was only one armchair for the two of us in the room. The restaurant and bar weren't open in the evenings. The lighting wasn't well distributed in the room. Nice bathroom. Peaceful location in quiet street. Spacious room.

Centrally located to the railway station which means only a 10 minute walk to the hotel from the station. Excellent breakfast included in the fare. Spotless rooms with en suite facilities. Only problem, the phone line out was not working - the line to outside was not operating from my room the whole time I was there. Other than that, a very nice hotel to stay at and would recommend to others.

A modern hotel that offers large rooms (especially for European standards). The location was great, you felt you were out of the city although you were quite close to the central train station. They were flexible with an early check-in that was much appreciated after a long flight from Australia. Not too much in the way of restaurants close by, but nothing that a walk or metro ride does not fix.

A well situated, clean, quiet and comfortable hotel. All was good, the friendly helpful staff were excellent; as was our breakfast. We would go again to this hotel.

We (Mother 87 years old and daughter 56) stayed for two nights. The cathedral and railway station are within walking distance. (15 minutes) We appreciated the underground car park (13€ per day) opposite the hotel. Very spacious room, contemporary style with big windows. The mattrasses are relatively hard. Very quiet. Breakfast between 7 and 11! Nice breakfast buffet, though the eggs were cold. The layout of the bathroom could have been improved in the planning:the toilet paper is situated behind you, the towel rack is inside the shower cubicle with no towel rack outside, but you can work around that. All in all a hotel we would recommend!

What a delightful find! We had a loft room which had a balcony looking out to the Dom. It was smallish (which is common in European rooms) but very clean and ultra modern in its furnishings. Although it is located on the far side of the main train stn, it was a quick walk to all major attractions. Staff were helpful and obliging. Breakfast was served in the restaurant adjoining the hotel, and was substantial. We would definitely stay here again.

An interesting renovation of a historic building into a stylish hotel that is very clean and near the train station and Cathedral. The large room and bath was a real plus after experiencing so many small hotel rooms in Europe.

It was a pleasure staying at Hopper in Koeln. This is a very stylish and minimalistic hotel that still manages to satisfy every need we had. Beautiful wooden floors and nice big beds, clean and sleek bathroom, high ceilings and nice big windows. The restaurant downstairs has a very delicious dining menu and the wine was excellent. The restaurant is also where the breakfast wass served which although not big, had everything that I was looking for in order to start my day of right. The service was excellent, we checked in in literary 2 minutes, and that included getting parking codes and everything...check out was the same, quick and easy. Very close to downtown, you reach the Cologne Dome within 10 minutes walking or by taking the underground 1 station!! I would recommend this hotel to anyone and am looking forward to returning in the summer time to take advantage of the cosy "innenhof" during breakfast and dinner.

This is a lovely 4* boutique hotel just minutes from the railway station and all cental Cologne has to offer. This was my first visit to Germany and I loved every minute of my visit. I cannot wait to return and will definitely stay at this hotel again.

The hotel is only a five minute walk from the Hauptbahnof and only seven minutes from the Dom; inside: the design and layout is very contemporary with high quality linen and furniture; breakfast is served from 07:00 to 10:00 and was well presented with plenty of choice, including freshly boiled or scrambled eggs along with an excellent range of meats, cheeses and breads; staff were also very friendly and I would certainly recommend this hotel.

Conveniently located to the downtown area and minutes away from the Rhine river, where you can go for a stroll. Hotel is in a quiet area with plenty of shops nearby.

This is indeed a fine hotel. The building hotel itself has a nice interior patio with a statue of the Saint that hosts the breakfast area. It is very quiet in the area of the hotel. My wife loved the room, it was modern and very stilish, she was impressed. It even had a small roof top terraza, it was very nice. The staff is fine. The location is good too: 15 mins by foot from the main buzz (just go down to the river and turn right and you will jump into the thick of it). The dessert didn't have the biggest variety but the quality of the food was very good in my opinion. And they serve it 7 to 11am which we liked since we like our sleep-ins. Three wasps were trying to eat our breakfast but it's not a big deal.

We really enjoyed out stay at the Hopper in February. Very nice spacious and comtemporary room with mini bar and shower. No coffee and tea making facilities in the room. Reception provided all we needed when we asked though. There is an extra fee (10 euros)for the sauna/gym which is out of the way in the basement. This isn't made clear in hotel literature when you book. The locatation is fine, about a 5 minute walk from the Cathedral (DOM) and 2 mins to the tram and a very tastey Cuban restaurant.

Building and interior are nice - I liked the breakfast buffet in the cosy restaurant. Pity it was booked for a dinner party, which was also quite noisy till late. Good parking facilities. The Dom is about 15 minutes walking.
