Millions of visitors every year flock to the waterfront promenade on Victoria Harbour. The Avenue of Stars is a popular focal point in the tourist-centric area and links with many fine attractions such as the Hong Kong Museum of Art, Hong Kong Space Museum, Star Ferry Pier and Tsim Sha Tsui Clock Tower. The promenade is also one of the best spots in the city to enjoy the remarkable Symphony of Lights skyline show, which takes place nightly in clement weather. Prominent names on the Avenue of Stars include media mogul Run Run Shaw, Bruce Lee, John Woo, Chow Yun Fat, Gong Li and Jet Li.
Vitals and Tips
Built in 2004 near the New World Centre and Sogo Department Store, the Avenue of Stars is almost half a km in length.
Visitors can access the Avenue of Stars from the East Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Station. The promenade is about 35 km from Hong Kong International Airport.
