Homewood Suites Chicago Downtown Guest Reviews
This is in a wonderful location with shopping, restaurants and transportation close by. The free breakfast was wonderful. I was with two teenagers so I must remark that the "free" wifi was extremely slow and spotty at times. Otherwise it was great

This is the best place to stay. The service was excellent A+. The only complaint I had was the pool water was really cold. The suite was really comfortable and if we needed anything they made sure we had it.

We loved the location and our room. Only two problems: (1) The icemaker in the refrigerator did not work. We called twice asking for ice. They told us both times that someone would be right up. Never came. My wife took a cooking pan downstairs and got ice from the kitchen. (2) The dining room was overcrowded and the buffet area was too small and not well organized. There were constant outages of items on the buffet and when replenishments arrived, the hoards waiting devoured them immediately.

Great Hotel. I have made reservations on it for my next trip to Chicago. The only two things that would have made the experience perfect were: The dining area is a bit small; ppl had to wait for tables. And, parking is too expensive.
