okay, air conditioner wasnt working right so it was a little stuffy made it a little hard to sleep and t.v. signal was breaking up alot

Had the family come to San Diego for a week long vacation. We hi all the major tourist traps and had a ton of fun as well as drama people with young children know all about. I booked the room on 3 days notice and was happy with the last minute deal I received on the room. The rooms were clean and newly renovated, staff was awesome and considerate... Bottom line it was a great experience, however... the room was too small for a family of four. I was told all rooms in the hotel were likewise tiny when I tried to upgrade. I really think that Holiday Inn should let people know i might not be a good idea to stay at this particular hotel with children.

Ok, we arrived one day before a big conference that had all the hotels in the area booked so our rate was completely out of this world. But no matter the fee we had to pay, we were put in a SMALL room in the 3rd Floor, where two of the pillows smelled badly and there were hairs in the bath. Breakfast was not included (despite we had to pay more than twice the regular price for one of the nights) and we had to pay $17 per day for parking. We had been travelling for 2 weeks, and stayed in other three hotels and this was the worst. One good thing was that they offered a free shuttle to Seaworld, the guy who drived in the morning was kind, but at return it was another person who was in a bad mood and was careless of we the guests. The location was nice, near Little Italy where we could enjoy a nice meal and very convenient to get into San Diego's main attractions. Oh, the pool was cold and it can be seen from the street, so its not very private.
