Holiday Inn Paris - Gare De L'Est Guest Reviews
This hotel was nice and had a reasonable price. Bathroom could use some cleaning (mold) and updating. Could not take a shower without wetting floor (had a half glass wall that was loose and allowed water all over wooden floor). Metro noise could be loud. Convenient to restaurants and metro made for easy sightseeing in Paris. Train to CDG ten minute walk.

We stayed at this hotel on two separate occasions. The first occasion was in the executive suite, which I rate very highly, in terms of size, facilities and value for money. On the second occasion we were in a standard room, whilst being very clean, was not large enough for two people to move about with any degree of freedom. I would not stay in a standard room again, unless travelling solo.

The room is tiny. The rest is fine. Staff is very friendly

The rooms are quite good - clean and new. The staff are extremely unhelpful and don't want to provide any information or service - only interested in selling tours and their morning breakfasts. there's no room service past 8pm, were told to call back (very rudely) the next morning. Or we were told that the amenities we were after 'had been given out to others' - this was used at least for 3 of the items we had requested. also, the neighbourhood doesn't feel safe - we were conscious to go back to the hotel before dark.
