Inside the room the carpet are wet

Our experience at the hotel was generally good. The staff was nice and efficient. We were very pleased with the restaurant that's located on the premises. The restaurant staffers were super nice and the food was good. What could have been better is the cleaning of the hotel room. Items from previous guests were left under the beds and in the closets. And the room needed dusting & better vacuuming. Also, the AC is a bit loud. With a bit more attention to cleaning of the rooms, this hotel would receive higher marks in my book. Additionally, a small fridge in the room would be a plus for people staying longer than a day or two.

We were in town to get our 18 daughter settled into college dorm. Hotel room was clean. Shower curtain rod was one of those bent outward type designed to give more elbow room in the tub. unfortunately the brackets on the shower rod were loose and the rod tilted downward making it impossible to close the curtain. looked like a lot of people before me had tried to lift the curtain rod into the proper position.

Overall, the hotel was acceptable. However, the Internet service did not work, and my room had no Internet cable. As someone traveling on business, this is an important feature to have.
