Holiday Inn North Phoenix Guest Reviews
The hotel was under renovation, we couldn't tell that the place was even opened for business. It looked like we were pulling up to hotel Bagdad after it had just been bombed. There was dust everywhere when you entered the loby. The usual dining area was closed so they had breakfeast in a small area. The bed was like a rock in my room. The bed in one of my friends room was much nicer. The tv was at least 10 years old with a fuzzy picture.

The entire hotel was under renovation construction. I wish this had been pointed out when I was booking the hotel. It was very inconvenient to have minimal to no amenities such as on site restaurant, pool, jacuzzi, etc. I opted to check out early rather than stay the last night.

we were informed that the place would be ready by Sept. so we did with out the pool ,hot tub, gym and any other things that normally comes with motels.

This hotel is not fit to be open to accept reservations. It is undergoing a massive reconstruction, the lobby is tore up, no drywall on the studs, exposed electrical wire everywhere, dirty bare exposed concrete floors with holes all over, dust that will choke you. Scaffolding everywhere, insulation hanging down plastics hanging down, noise very early by construction workers. And old furniture and trash filling the empty pool. Orbitz ought to be ashamed for not mentioning such a project to their customer I would have stayed elsewhere.

The situation at our hotel was apauling. The only amneties we were looking for in our hotel, car flight package deal was a clean hotel, breakfast and a useable pool. The hotel pool was off limits due to the green water developed over the four months of construction the hotel has been under, the breakfast was served in a dirty dusty discusting room & our room itself windows were was sealed up on the outside with plastic and workers working on scaffold. The hotel is a complete disaster, dirty noisy, basically very unhealthy situation with hazards and dust every where. We were looking for the best package deal but we were not looking for the worst possible situation. After speaking to hotel management they say this was Orbitz fault for not posting the conditions. Orbitz claims it was the hotels fault. Niether party involved would offer to help relocate us to somewhere more pleasing. We were refunded the second night $29.00 which is why they thought it was a great deal. I would not have paid $5.00 for the unhealthy situation with none of the amneties we were looking for. We spent a lot of money to travel from Seattle You FAILED us ORBITZ !
