Not bad overall, just considered a bit far to walk to Subway line during cold winter. Summer should be ok.

This hotel is good value in an excellent central location. Rooms could do with a little updating but staff are helpful and the hotel was clean and comfortable. Would stay there again.

Stayed here with 3 people total. Plenty of space for all our stuff. Bathroom was good, showers were strong and sink was clean. Housekeeping was polite and came everyday.

The Holiday Inn was located near the SW corner of central park. If it hadn't been so cold, we could have walked more. We could see the Hudson from our room. The room and the breakfast cafe was suitable for a 3-star. Everything was fine

great location walking distance to Times Square, theaters, restaurants, etc. Great staff, easy check-in, large rooms, parking at discount, etc. Holiday Inn Midtown made New York affordable again! It's our place in NYC.

Hotel staff was friendly and accommodating.. the location is very close to the subway and a short walk to times square. plenty of eats around too. if your looking for elegance, this is not it.. but if your looking for a hotel in midtown and at a price so you can still afford to eat..this is it.. well as long as you book through the internet

Great location; typical Holiday Inn (nothing to rave about as far as quality and luxury but does the job); were not in hotel much but did enough for what we wanted. Hotel employees were very pleasant.

We were at the hotel for 4 nights. The location is great as you can walk to Times Square& Broadway. The TV is old but it wasn't a big issue for us as we were not there to watch TV. There are so many restaurants by the hotel.

Almost everything's perfect, except the attitudes of some staff when we are trying to find a taxi for carrying us to the airport. They only want tips, not helping us, and they kept catching the taxi for other people and make us waiting in the heavy rain just because we refused to give them tips!!!

The staff and accommodations were better than expected. Although the room was located in the old tower, the room was clean and bed bug free. I'll consider staying again for my next trip.

The room cleaner messed up my luggage and took my new shoes. Thieves are everywhere, and its probably my fault I forgot to lock my luggage. But what bothers me is that the hotel can't do anything about it even though they know exactly who has been cleaning my room.

This hotel has an amazing location and is within walking distance to most NYC attractions. The rooms are spacious and clean and the staff is very friendly. Next time I visit NYC I will be sure to stay here again.

Clean and good value with free wifi, one block little too far West of Time Square and feels on outskirts, but hotel is close enough to Central Park and Whole Foods which is at Time Warner building, only 3 blocks away and good place to eat.

A friend and I went to NYC to see a show. I chose this hotel because of it's relatively affordable price during the holiday season of hotel price gouging. The price was better than most and I was pleasantly surprised to find how really nice it was. The rooms are being updated, which is needed. Of several similar type hotels I have stayed in in New York, this was the nicest overall. The one drawback is its distance from the center of town. Great for a visit near Central Park, though!

Holiday Inn Midtown was an excellent location for our girls' shopping weekend. It was in walking distance to many of the sights and stores and close to subway lines when we went to Soho area. It had several Starbucks close by and all the amenities we needed - clean and bright. It had a restaurant for dinner and a bar off the main lobby. The price was reasonable compared to many of the other hotels in the area. Staff were friendly and helpful.
