Picture your worst nightmares in a hotel stay and you've got the Holiday Inn Kingston. Dirty corridors with carpet warped and ready to trip you, unclean rooms, hairs on pillows, bugs crawling on the floor and spiders floating from the ceiling, unmentionables on toilets, leaky ceilings with a Chinese water torture drip, drip dripping onto the heating unit that either turns the room into an inferno or a deep freeze. The restaurant is filthy and despite being the only party for breakfast (a very expensive breakfast, I might add), the service was unbearably slow, completely botched and the food was horrible. Eggs poached hard as rocks, burned hash from a can, sausage in the veggie scramble??!!

The rooms are very clean and the beds are extremely comfortable. My son said it best when he told me after our 1st night there " I had the best nights sleep I've had in weeks !!" I would definately stay there again.

The room was perfectly adequate, comfortable bed, small but ok bathroom. The pool was good for relaxing. The food was surprisingly good for a hotel in this chain, and the waitress was excellent.
