Location
Killarney Holiday Inn is ideally based for transport links with Killarney railway station right on the doorstep and Kerry airport just a short drive from the property. Cork International Airport is a manageable car journey too at around an hour and a half. As well as sightseeing in the local area guests at this hotel have pretty Killarney town at their disposal with its many pubs, restaurants and shops - the Killarney Outlet Centre is a great place to pick up a bargain.

All hundred bedrooms feature ensuite amenities, as well as tea and coffee making facilities, high speed Internet access, and a hairdryer.
Restaurant
The 'Library Point' restaurant serves a full Irish breakfast and is open for lunch and dinner - delivering traditional Irish cuisine. The Holiday Inn also boasts its own pub which features live music at weekends.

Room was very clean, and hotel location really suited us. Loads of free parking and only 10 min walk into center of Killarney. However rooms are very dated, and air conditioning didn't work, which was very uncomfortable during the unusually warrm weather we had during our stay. 1 window didn't lock properly. Swimming pool is tiny, and jacuzzi is on a timer. I wouldn't let the amenities be a factor in choosing this hotel. Wi-fi only in lobby.

Nice older style hotel,easy walk to city centre.Room was good size and clean.Didnt eat there as city was so close but menu seemed ok but a little expensive compared to city restaurants,but is expected I guess.Only problem is the free internet access which is only available in the lobby.I and others could not access it and reception staff could not help but only a small problem

Overall, a very clean and comfortable hotel. Bar staff very slow to clear tables after food (30 mins) even though very few people in the bar at the time. Door closers on the fire doors in the corridor would have lessened the noise considerably of the bang each time it was passed through.
