Stayed here 7 nights April '03. It was being intensely remodeled, with some floors still being worked on. The lobby, restaurant, and bar were attractive and functional, while the rooms were very comfortable and tastefully appointed. It is a 5-6 euro cab ride from Belem and all downtown attractions. It's a few blocks to a Metro station and to a wide selection of restaurants. There was never a problem getting a cab. All personnel were cordial and helpful. We'd stay there again!
