Holiday Inn Hotel Harrogate Guest Reviews
Overall a very good stay, within easy walk of city attractions. Staff very friendly and helpful, Room & bathroom clean and tidy. Food in hotel bar was very good but beer selection was not appropriate in an area noted for excellent breweries. Not a good hotel for car drivers, the underground parking spaces are a confused undersized mess, ripe for door ding's and the exit is a serpentine route fit only for the smallest mini cars.. In line with the rest of the city, the apron in front of hotel could do with a daily attack from a sweeping broom.

Very Good hotel within easy walking distance of all that Harrogate has to offer as well as some excellent views. Don't worry about breakfast there is a good Wetherspoons Hotel nearby with cheap (£2.99) breakfasts.

The staff very friendly and polite. Building looks better on the inside than the outside. Extra secruity that you can only use the lift if you have a key card. Rooms are a decent size, bed comfortable and bathroom had all what you needed. Down size was that the room was very warm (went in August and it was hot week) had the window open but the air still didn't get in so had a very restless night. Non air conditioning. Then at 8am was woken by the workmen outside using a crane. Great locate though as it's right in the town center but far enough away from the pubs so that your not woken up by them.

Stayed for 1 night here in Dec 2007 with Vicky Chew, both of us came from Malaysia. Best hotel in Harrogate. Good pricing because we stay during off-peak on Sun (£50 per room) which is good for a 4 star hotel..Has internet facilities with printer available although very expensive, 15 mins - £5, We paid for it for important use (for online flight check-in and printing of check-in pass)..does not provide breakfast (extra charge for breakfast).. Location is within 15 mins walk to train station although taxi is about £5 for 2 passenger..Will stay here again in this beautiful town..

Service and facilities in this hotel were excellent. On my return I discovered I had been double billed by mistake.....One telephone call and it was sorted by someone in the finance dept....I think her name was Helen. Well done Helen.
