The bad: The hotel should have a more specific one page sheet on how to get to downtown NY. I had to ask and was a very general sheet. For example, they should state on the sheet that the bus numbers are 171 or 175. That your return bus should drop you off on Jones Rd. which will take you about 12 minutes to walk back to the hotel ( 3/4 of a mile or so). The neighbored is safe. We had no problem walking back to the hotel. We walked 10 to 14 miles a day in New York city touring, another 3/4 of a mile was nothing to us. The cleaning ladies forgot to clean our room 1 night. No cleaning night crew. So we just slept on the other queen size made bed. The drain in the shower got clogged up after a bath. It was fixed the next day. The alarm clock did not work. The good: easier to get to NY city then it is to get back. Breakfast buffet was good for all you can eat price. Good location for the price. Although, the hotel price would have been $40.00 cheaper if I would have stayed a week and half later. The main reason we stayed there was for the free parking and free wifi. The refrigerator, microwave, and coffee machine in the room was nice. The room was just a place to sleep; we were touring most of the day for about 10 to 12 hours a day. The room had a muggy smell to it when you first walk in but once you are in the room awhile you don't notice it. Take ear plugs if you do not like traffic noise. We were heavy sleepers after 12 hour days of touring so it didn't bother us. Be plan and be prepared and you will see a lot.

Room was clean and check-in was fast and efficient. However: Elevators are the slowest anywhere. The time on all clocks had not been changed for daylight savings time. The pillows were too large. The traffic on route 4 was terrible but it was not the fault of the hotel.

It was really good experiene in staying this hotel.Rooms were nice.Staff was good. Conectivity to NYC to this hotel is ok.

It is ok hotel, but not great. It is a little outdated and overpriced compared to the hotels in the vicinity. While there, water was stopped for emergency repairs to the boiler. But that was not only hot but also cold water. The cable TV went out and stayed out for a whole night and whole day next day. Overall it is not the cleanest place, and bathrooms are specailly outdated. Same thing applies to carpet conditions.
