Holiday Inn Fresno-Airport Hotel Guest Reviews
Arranged to stay at the Holiday Inn Sunday night for an early morning flight Monday morning (5:50 am to LA and then to Boston). Coming down from Yosemite my family, who lived in San Francisco, said "why didn't you arrange for an evening flight". Good question and wish I had. The only thing the hotel had going for it was it's closeness to the airport (FAT)- literally a 4 minute walk. The food was over priced - lunch and dinner menu the same, and there was no atmosphere. Seems to be the place where only the flight crews stay. The allowed early check in (11am), but then put us next to the only other person staying at the hotel (it seemed very empty) and either was entertaining a lot of girls or had the TV turned up all night. My wife and I thought we would have a romantic dinner, but the menu was the same as lunch; the room was freezing; it was located in the bar; the bartender apologized for the computer being down, which required her to keep running to the front desk to ring up the order( the bartender was our waitress and actually the computer was not down , but the computer server for the bar and restaurant had been stolen over the Thanksgiving weekend. Must have been an inside job). On the positive side the bed was comfortable and when we checked in, the front desk person was from the Boston.

It is an excellent hotel within easy walking distance of airport terminal. Great price offered better than airport for long term parking. Indoor spa and pool good for relaxation. Restaurant adequate for meals without having to leave hotel for more expensive restaurant.
