the shower is excellent. breakfast not so many choices but enough to make you full. location is good if you plan to visit other provinces because its near the railway station.comfy bed .

Never dream that the hotel can offer such a good quality service and cleanliness with such a low price. I highly recommend this one for members. A little improvement is recommend to the hotel that indicate clearly how to get to the hotel after exit from railway station and mtr station.

The hotel is centrally located. The Hotel had English Speaking Receptionists who guided us to take taxis and reach various destinations in china to solve our language problem in china. The Hotel had lake view which was very nice. Overall, I give good rating to Hotel Holiday Inn Express.

On arival the Hotel did not have our booking. We did not have our passports with us as we wre residents of China and were unaware that we had to have them to book in which meant we had to go to immigration to get varification that we were legal residents in China. The hotel had no room service, the breakfast was terrible!! the frooms were comfortable and clean but being close to the railway station was noisy. The Hotel does no desrve its self rated 4 star... maybe a 1-2.

Overall good value for the price paid. 400m walk to the nearest metro station but overall good location particularly if you would be taking the train for side trips outside shanghai.
