I had a late check-in time. Arrive at 10pm after working 6 hours and driving 5 to Houston. The clerk says "sorry ma'am, I have bad news...pauses and then says the elevator is broken BUT we do have stairs on both sides of the hotel" and then says "I see your suitcase is small so you shouldn't have trouble getting up the stairs. Never once offered to carry my luggage. I received a letter under my door for their apologies and that they will give me a 20% discount for that nights stay. It was prepaid! So, no discount was given. Then the next day, after working all day, I go up to my room and neither of my room keys work. Again, I go back down the stairs and get that taken care of.

Everything was perfectly fine! No complaints other than a humid AC system that made the room muggy. Nothing special, but nothing inadequate. Perfectly nice and clean for a 1-night stay. The area around the hotel seems a little bit sketchy (nothing they can do about that, of course) but I felt perfectly fine in the hotel as a single woman. Didn't realize breakfast was included so that was a nice bonus.

Staying at that hotel was a very pleasant experience. It is clean and not noisy at all. Perfect sound isolation. The services were good, the staff courteous. We enjoyed the outdoor swimming pool. The breakfast was sufficient and included in the hotel price. The hotel was conveniently located. A very good restaurant "Persian Grill" is nearby.
