The hotel was good. Rooms were clean and most of the staff was good except for the lady at the breakfast bar. Breakfast was good first 2 days, on 3rd day the lady was rude and refused to provide milk and kept saying there was no milk. After arguing with her she finally got some out.

The staff was great, especially the night staff. The pool (indoor) was open until 1100 p.m. for children, midnight for adults. The breakfast is a real breakfast. The hotel is perfectly located we were minutes away from the Kohl's Children Museum, Lincoln Park Zoo, Lamb's Farm, as well as other Chicago attractions. We spent a Saturday at North Avenue beach which was less that 25 minutes away. If you are in need of supplies for your home an Ikea Store is just 17 minutes away. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the kitchen in our room didn't have a stovetop (we had a fridge and microwave).

We stayed in Riverwoods, north of Chicago and traveled to Chicago to see the city and sites. The drive to the hotel was relaxing- some traffic trying to get back into Chicago but that was expected. The hotel service was immediately welcoming and when asked questions they were ready and willing to answer. other hotels think its an inconvience when asked questions or question why people may need more towels, etc.
