Location
Although the Holiday Inn Express Edinburgh Waterfront has much to offer on its doorstep, Edinburgh city centre is just 1.5km away where the prestigious Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle and Holyrood Palace can be found. Excellent transport links are also close by.

Window would not shut properly, causing room to be somewhat draughty. Otherwise perfectly adequate for my needs.

Newish typical chain type hotel located next to Ocean Terminal and the "Britannia"in Leith. Easy parking and convenient and frequent bus services into town centre and Princes Street which is cheap with all day public transport ticket costing approx 4 Euros. Breakfast is basic but quite adequate self serve continental buffet.Nearby excellent restaurants some with food delivery services make for good variety and reasonable prices for other meals.Definately convenient and good value for money.

Although the hotel is about 2 miles from the centre it is extremely well served by the local buses. It is very close to the Royal Boat Brittania and a new entertainments centre with plenty of restaurants nearby. Location of the hotel is very much in a sought after area of Edinburgh.
