This Resort was excellent.I did not know what to expect but when I arrived with my guest we were in awe it was like a condo but even better. We were only staying two nights so we did not need the washer or dryer but it was nice to have them just in case. The furniture was beautiful and up to date. The location is not bad at all either. This resort was not far from the strip at all and there was no need to drive yourself anywhere because the resort provided a shuttle to several different locations and if you needed a cab they called one for you!I would love to come back!I recommend it!

The only real negative things about the stay was the maid forgot to leave me a clean bath towel and I had to dry off with hand towels. Also, the walls are a little thin allowing noise to come in from adjoining rooms. Good things: the staff found some valuable personal possessions we left behind and called us to retrieve them. Kudos to them for this.

PERFECT distance from the thick of things. The staff was awesome and getting around was easy. I'm planning my next trip already and I am not staying anywhere else but at the Desert Club Resort. Thanks for the great service, the VERY pleasant staff and for making my first trip to Vegas great!

I rented a one bed suite for 4 adults. The suite is small yet complete. It has a full kitchen and a personal laundry. It's very good for someone like us who like to cook our own food instead of eating out. We had fun making and eating the meals in this homie apartment. Average price is $80+ per night in the CES Weekend. I will definitely rent from here again if the price stays competitive.

Perfect distance from the strip if you want to be close but not in the thick of things. Quiet, very clean and full of the comforts of home - loved the flat screens and the fireplace! Bed was comfortable and I want the tub in my home!

I stayed at the Desert Inn, now a Holiday Inn vacation club, (although the staff was so new they wouldn't take my priority number), to attend the CES show. I chose the location because of its price and convenience to the monorail. The line for the monorail was ridiculously long and instead I walked to and from the show. It is also close to the Sands Expo center. The location is two blocks off the strip, but they are wide blocks. The room was large, more like a one bedroom villa, with a full kitchen, patio, fireplace and two flat screen TV's and an iPod docking station and soaking tub. I had 3 complaints, the internet was intermittent at best and cut out for long periods and which was a huge problem as I am taking a class on-line and could not download the lecture. The marketplace closed at 10 and to find a place to buy a bottle of water you needed a map. Lastly, there was only one bath towel in the room which meant after a work out in the spartan gym I had to hang the towel to dry for the next morning.

I stayed here 2 nights during CES 2012. The room was far less expensive than other hotels at the time. The room was great - very clean, spacious, fully equipped with appliances, plates, utensils, pots, pans, etc. It far exceeded my expectations. The only bad part was that the free wifi was absolutely awful. Difficult to get connected at all, and when you got connected, it was painfully slow, nearly unusable. Hopefully that was a temporary problem and will be fixed.

Got a great last minute deal 2 weeks before a convention. Everything else booked on all sites, only choice was to be very far away or pay an astronomical price, but we were able to book a great location and great price. No onto the room. We arrived, and were very pleasantly surprised with this huge luxurious room. Tile floors, granite(similar material) style counter top, two bedroom with master baths and walk in closets, safe, 3 huge flat screens (living room, & bedrooms), full kitchen, and even washer & dryer in the unit. Absolutely amazing. Full fitness center, hot tubs, 5 heated pools, starbucks coffee onsite in bistro, and mini market downstairs. Ok onto the not so pleasant stuff. No elevators, so we chose ground level which suffers from loud obnoxious drunk people yelling or fighting in the middle of the night, mini ants crawling in the kitchen, larger bugs (2 in my case)-- one in the bathroom and one on the bed. A huge problem was internet reliability which was caused by a large number of guest.. but we were there for business and it caused some serious delays for us. Staff was ok, but not so helpful about the internet. In the end I had to get through to an assistant manager who kindly refunded one night of the staff to compensate for our troubles. So all is well that ends well and I can tell this hotel is committed to improvements. Its worth giving it a try and the free shuttle takes you to the strip or you can walk there within 10-15 minutes..$15 taxi ride from air port Jan 2012 plus tip.

The Desert Club Resort was fantastic! A full-sized suite for a bargain price! The location is great, only one block off of the strip. Very close to all of the famous sites and a great comfortable room and attentive staff. The room was clean and updated with 2 large screen TVs and a full kitchen. This is now our only hotel when we stay in Vegas!

The hotel was pretty nice itself. It needs some upgrades when it comes to furniture and electronic appliances but other than that it's good to go. Perfect if your looking for a long stay though. It has everything that you need and close to the strip where taxis arent that expensive bc it's that close. The price they ask for is good as well. Can't complain about anything. Security is enforced so no need to worry about you car being stolen or anything like that. Good getaway. Satisfied!

We spent over an hour to check -in since the resort couldn't find our reservation at all. Ended up they checked back to the travel agent's record, they could find our reservation from the agent's record, but not theirs. So they had to fix the problem and redo the reservation again. About the resort, the housekeeper didn't refill the cups, mugs, plates ... after we used them. Besides, we stayed on the first floor and we could hear a lot of squeaky noise from the 2nd floor which was pretty annoying. Other than these, it's a good resort!

I was scheduled to check in at 4pm, but I arrived at 1pm and was told my suite was ready . After the long flight from Atlanta, GA I was happy when I entered the suite because the decor was excellent and everything was so clean and beautiful. Hotel is within walking distance from the strip. Shuttles to and from are on time. Will always stay at the Desert Club Resort when in Las Vegas.

I had a great time, the location was perfect, not too far from the strip. Close enough to get there quickly, but not too close when you need to get away from the crowd. Plenty of space, friendly staff. reasonable price market place right on the premises, shuttle service. My staff was great, I look forward to returning, One suggestion is the prices in the gril area could be a little lower, $9.00 for a cheeseburger is a bit much, they should rethink that price. But there breakfast was a good price and was worth the purchase. I look forward to returning. Thanks for all your help.

The room was part of a time share condo complex. We booked intentionally because it was the only with TWO king-sized beds, and we were travelling with another couple who preferred a king bed. Most propaganda from this resort said it was totally remodeled. Some reviews complained of a "shabby" or "dated" room. I hoped their rooms had been remodeled, since the ads said. Well, those folks were spot on. Our condo was dated 1975. Furniture with large rips and tears. Old laminate cabinetry with peeling pearl pink trim and pink Formica. Carpet was tattered and dirty. Contact paper on the cabinet shelves was peeling and gross. You get the picture. One of the bath towels appeared to have dirty footprints. Comfort? The beds were also 1970's vintage. We rolled to the middle of that king sized mattress. Heating system was vintage... hot, then cold. Blankets were thin. WIndow open? DON'T do that! We had a "view" of the parking lot. Which meant inebriated guests at Midnite were pretty loud outside our windows. Same with busses dropping folks off. I had heard "No elevators". Not a big deal, until you get one of the rooms on 3. One more discomfort on the list. Good? Parking. No death march to the end hallway of a mega hotel. Easy access to this place- right up Koval. Easy out- right on Koval, took us to Sands/Spring Mountain and I-15. Nice pools, jacuzzis.

Only 1 block from Vegas Strip so very quiet. The rooms are a small apartment with everything you need. The have shuttles that will take you anywhere you want which is great! The pools are well done and have towels at the pool to use along with great music playing on the speakers - made it fun to hang out! We just stayed one night with 2 young kids but could have stayed longer no problem! Very clean, very convenient and everything was well thought out. The decor was beautiful. The rooms are small - but well designed and perfect. The only thing I didn't like was the Tub/shower. It is a HUGE bath tub - and by huge I mean like 4 people could bath in there at once - crazy! This is also where you take a shower - it is awkward - but I get it for saving space - but why such a huge tub weird. That said they have everything you need and a great price to boot! I highly recommend this place to anyone. You can go play on the strip and come back for a great night sleep etc. I
