Decided to use this hotel having stopped there previously and although above the budget we had set it was worthwhile. Great location and a lovely laid back feel. Only hope Holiday Inn keep the decor in good condition as some areas were showing signs of wear but not yet to the detriment of overall experience.

I just found out that the holiday inn charged my credit card $280.00 for the 2 nights. I contacted them and was told that it would be taken off my card within 10 days. It only took 1 day to charge my card. Let your customers know this can happen to them.

The hotel wasn't exactly what was described on Orbitz. I expected something newer and with more amenities on site. The hotel was within walking distance of a couple different restaurants and the beach, but the point is that none of these were on the property. Also, one of the nights I stayed at the hotel, the maid forgot to stop by to clean the room. I had to call the front desk to have the room cleaned and bed made up. I probably wouldn't go back.

My family and I decided to visit the Clearwater Beach area. The description of this hotel seemed to fit our needs. It met all of our expectations. The kids enjoyed the family pool. We had a great view of the marina. There was a slight musty smell in the room due to the closeness of the water from the intercoastal.

For a really quick trip - we had pleanty to do especially eat a Jimmy Guanna's - great food and polite wait staff. The kids love put put right there. I really wish we could have stayed longer but in these difficult times we didn't have any choice. We have started talking about next's trip and we will be commimg back to Holiday Inn and Suites for sure. Really Awsome!!!!!
