Situated about 3 kilometres from the city centre, this elegant property is positioned at the gateway to the Canyon de Chelly National Monument, the 2nd largest canyon in the United States. The hotel is a part of the historic Garcia's Trading Post located in the heart of the Navajo Nation Reservation.

Holiday Inn Canyon De Chelly Chinle Hotel Guest Reviews
This hotel seemed to be closest to Canyon de Chelly National Monument, which was why we stopped on our way to four corners. The canyon is beautiful. The hotel seemed well-maintained and the early afternoon staff was a little unprofessional, but not rude. Our room wasn't ready, so when we came back, the evening check-in staff was slow at checking us in, but friendly. There is a trading post in the lobby along with a restaurant that served good food (the roast beef frybread sandwich was great). Chinle is a bit run-down, and I was glad that this hotel is separated from the main town. It's also protected from the winds by a hill, so we didn't get as bad a dust storm as the rest of the town. Overall, comfortable bed and room, close to the canyon, convenient souvenir shop, good restaurant. After our experience, this is the only hotel I would stay at in Chinle.

Totally serviceable hotel in a quiet part of town. Stationed at the old Garcia's Trading Post. It is a common meeting point for guides to take you into Canyon de Chelly.
