This is an average clean and comfortable Auckland airport hotel. Being an airport hotel I would expect the shuttle bus to be free of charge

Our favorite Auckland hotel and so close to the airport. the place is always pristine, with good to very good room service meals and a friendly atmosphere. We usually book a 2 x double bed room and there is ample space, great TV and bathroom as you'd expect. We have tried many, but have not found a better hotel to stay at in preparation for an early departure the next day.

The Holiday Inn Auckland Airport is a fantastic hotel to stay at if you are looking at an overnight stay in New Zealand which is close to the airport. The hotel is well serviced by a shuttle bus running to and from the airport every 30 minutes. The rooms are nice, clean and you also get a choice of what type of pillow you would like to sleep on. It should be noted that the hotel has 2 floors with the majority of the rooms being located on the 2nd level. There is no lift between the ground floor and 1st, so be aware that if you are travelling with luggage you will need to carry it up a decent flight of stairs. Hotel staff are on hand if you need help with your luggage. The buffet breakfast at the hotel is sensational. My wife and I could not believe the large selections that were on offer and is one of the best breakfasts that we have seen around the world. We would certainly recommend the breakfast. The buffet also opens early for those that have early flights.
