Holiday Inn Atrium Singapore Guest Reviews
That's good stuff.. Almost perfect and doesn't get any better..

Paid the full balance of my stay using a credit card other than the one used at check-in because the charges were more than originally anticipated. After paying the full $2,000+ balance, the hotel manager couldn't assist removing the credit hold. The hold prevented me from using my credit card to purchase souvenirs for family. Would have liked the front desk manager to be more helpful in removing the credit hold, rather than condescending grimace of my hardship.

Room was typical Holiday Inn fare, with a couple of extras ( robe slippers and a pillow menu). Staff were friendly and helpful and the amenities were OK. wWe enjoyed the location, but might be a problem for some. Not close to a MRT station, but buses are plentiful and taxis are cheap. One block away from the Singapore river, with an assortment of bars and restaurants that cater to tourists, but we we preferred local cuisine and there are two markets within 5 minute walks. Overal great value and would stay there again

Stayed at the Holiday Inn Atrium during the month of October 2011, and was extremely satisfied with my stay. I certainly didn't mind staying-in during rainy days. Don't let the price discourage you: Singapore is the most expensive destination in Asia, and hotels certainly aren't cheap. You'll get great value for your money, as hotels of this standard in the immediate vicinity can easily run you twice the amount. Extremely kind, courteous and helpful staff, who were kind enough to allowed me to check-in at 10:00 a.m. due to an early morning arrival, without an additional charge. Requested a room on an upper-floor, and the staff kindly obliged. Upper floors were nice and quiet. Due to the cylindrical shape of the hotel, all rooms offer a great view, but the upper floors have the unobstructive views. Room was recently refurbished, and the carpet was nice and plush. A real joy for sore feet after a day of sightseeing. The bed sheets and pillows were feather down, and incredibly soft. Bathroom and shower were squeaky-clean, with a great selection of complimentary toiletries. Great selection of international news channels, and Chinese, Malay, and Indian soap operas on TV, which were a real joy to watch! In-room mini-bar made it more encomonical to store self-purchased beverages and snacks. In-room safe located in the closet, with the ironing board. Coffee maker, complimentary water, and fruit was also offered! Superb! A convenience store is located inside the hotel for your basic ammenities, such as beverages, snacks, and smokes. Pretty good prices, compared to the 7-Eleven and Cheers! convience stores located around the capital. Hotel offers a breakfast buffet for SGD $20.00. Food is served buffet style. Decent grub, but a bit pricey for breakfast. Dinner buffet is SGD $45.00 Again, service is buffet style. You'll save more money if you eat in the malls located around the MRT stations. Hotel also has a a decent bar which offers ESPN on 2 flat screen TV's. Don't be surprise by the cost of your drinks, because alcohol is also expensive in Singapore. Too many reviews have been written complaining about the distance between the hotel and the city center. Here's a solution: To get from the hotel to Outram Park Station, board Bus 75 at Bus Stop #06069 - (AFT Furama Riverfront) on Outram Road. Alight at 2nd Stop - (Outram Park Station). Cost: SGD $1.80 From Outram Park Station to the hotel, board Bus 75 at Bus Stop #10017 - (AFT Hospital Drive). Alight at 4th Stop - (Block 94 Zion Road - Bus Stop #06081). Walk across Zion Road to the back-entrance of the hotel. Cost: SGD: $1.80. More information can be found at the SMRT Journey Planner website at: http://journeyplanner.smrt.com.sg/System/Default.aspx When viewing the website, type "Holiday Inn Atrium" and "Outram Park Station". To make your life easier, pick-up an Adult EZ Link card at Outram Park Station, which will be valid for both the MRT and Bus Systems. Depending on your sightseeing plans, you'll need at least SGD $30.00 for 1 week.

The hotel is nice, up to the Holiday Inn standards, but at US$200+ for the night, I would have expected that breakfast and Internet would be included...
