Holdsworth House Hotel & Restaurant Halifax is a grand 17th century Jacobean Manor house, standing three miles north of Halifax in the heart of West Yorkshire's landscape of moors and mills. Set in its own secluded grounds 15 minutes from the motorway, Holdsworth House Hotel & Restaurant Halifax hotel is easily accessible for the Pennines, Dales and Bronte country.

beautiful stuart period house, but we like that period anyway. they have a lot of weddings here, and there was a 50th birthday party on during the night of our stay. However the bedrooms are long way from the dance hall/function room. resturant was pricey but we had a party to go to elsewhere so didn't try it. avoid a plastic lodge situated on a noisy by-pass and treat yourself to something with character. only downside was not really worth the £7 extra for full english, as opposed to continental breakfast -which was high quality
